About Greater Noida

Greater Noida is the gateway to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) which lies within the National Capital Region of India’s capital - New Delhi and is adjacent to Noida, one of the largest industrial townships in Asia. The integrated township is shaping up as India's smartest city and has emerged as a modern model of far-sighted town planning. Greater Noida is being developed as Metro centre providing for quality urban environment. It is one of the most well planned towns in the NCR. Better and more carefully planned. One can admire its broad, tree lined avenues. The trees are in colorful bloom at some time or the other throughout the year.

Climate
Greater Noida has a similar climate to Delhi: very hot and dry during summer, hot and humid during monsoons, pleasant and dry during spring and autumn, and cool to cold during winters. From March to June, the temperature ranges from a maximum of 45 °C to a minimum of 23 °C. Monsoon season prevails during mid-June to mid-September. The cold waves from the Himalayan region make the winters in Greater Noida very chilly. Temperatures fall to as low as 3 to 4 °C at the peak of winter with fog at times.

Sights and Landmark
Sites like Buddha International Circuit, Jaypee Golf Course, India Expo Mart, Surajpur Bird Sanctuary are few of the places one can visit. Besides various Grand Prix events, corporate events, conferences, marathons and musical concerts are also organized time to time. India Exposition Mart is India’s first state-of-the-art project that hosts a variety of trade shows, business-to-business conferences and promotional events with world class facilities.

Shopping
Greater Noida has lots of avenues for shopping. For wholesome entertainment, Omaxe Connaught Place in Greater Noida is an ideal place to visit. The Grand Venice Mall is a well-known shopping centre in Greater Noida. The mall epitomizes the grandeur of the city of Venice and Italian architecture through replicas of world-known landmarks like Trevi Fountain, Leaning Tower of Pisa and Statue of Julius Caesar. A gondola ride is a must try here.

In Greater Noida, the UPSIDA has industrial plots spread over 2,500 acres apart from few other category plots meant for shopping malls and five-star hotels. The UPSIDA is the biggest industrial body that has 154 industrial hubs spread in 51 districts of the state.

Well Connected
Greater Noida is well connected via road and also its International Airport is on the fast development phase along with its nearest airways Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (50 km). By train, you can get down at Ghaziabad (31 km) or New Delhi (41.5 km) railway station and then travel to Greater Noida by road.
